Privacy at Atavacron
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This page is from John Daigle dba Atavacron ("Atavacron", "we", "us"). It explains, in plain words, what information we collect on atavacron.com and in our site chat, Tavvy, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Tavvy is part of Atavacron Chat. If anything here is unclear, ask Tavvy and a person on our team can follow up.
Please do not share sensitive information in chat
Tavvy is an AI assistant. Please do not type passwords, payment details, government ID numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal details into the chat. Answers from Tavvy can be wrong, are general information only, and are not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
What we collect
- Chat text. The messages you type to Tavvy and the replies Tavvy gives.
- Your email, if you choose to leave it. Tavvy may ask whether you would like a reply. Leaving your email is optional.
- Basic analytics. If you agree to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to see things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and the type of device and browser. We do not load Google Analytics until you agree.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, the services that run our site may process technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and request times so the site can work and stay protected. We do not store your IP address or browser details with your chat.
Why we collect it
- To answer your questions in chat.
- To reply to you by email, only if you asked us to and left your email.
- To understand how the site and chat are used so we can improve them.
- To keep the site and chat working and to help protect them from abuse.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use client data to train AI models without a written agreement.
How long we keep it
- Chat text (your messages, Tavvy's replies, message times, and which site you used) if it is saved, is kept in our Cloudflare storage and is deleted automatically within 30 days of the start of the conversation. The 30 day deletion applies to chat text only.
- Your IP address is held for about 1 hour by our rate limiter, which helps prevent abuse. It is not stored with your chat.
- Your email, if you left it, is sent to us in a lead email through our email processor, Resend, which keeps email content and logs for 30 days. Each lead email contains only three things: your email address, the source (where on the site you left it), and a timestamp. A copy arrives in our own email inbox. We keep these emails in our inbox as long as we need them to follow up with you. They are not deleted automatically after 30 days. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Analytics data, only if you agree to analytics cookies, is kept in Google Analytics according to our settings: event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, and then it is deleted.
Services involved
We use a small number of outside services to run the site and chat. Each one handles information under its own terms.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the chat, and stores chat text, when it is saved, for no more than 30 days as described above. We keep Cloudflare's Workers request logs turned off. If we ever turn them on, those short term request logs are kept for up to 7 days.
- Cloudflare Workers AI generates Tavvy's replies using Meta's Llama 3.1 8B model, which runs on Cloudflare. Your chat messages are sent to it to create an answer. Cloudflare states that it does not train on or store these inputs. Cloudflare does not publish a retention period for this processing, so we rely on Cloudflare's own statements and terms here.
- Resend is our email processor. It delivers the lead email to us when you leave your email, and that email contains only your email address, the source, and a timestamp. Resend keeps email content and logs for 30 days.
- Google Analytics 4 measures site use, only after you agree to analytics cookies.
How we protect information
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and we aim to keep only what we need for as long as we need it. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will always be safe. This is one more reason to keep sensitive details out of chat.
Your choices and requests
- Chat is optional. You can use the site without opening Tavvy.
- Email is optional. You can chat without leaving an email.
- Analytics is optional. You can decline analytics cookies in our banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in our site footer.
- Requests. You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it sooner. Email us at hello@atavacron.com, or ask through Tavvy and leave an email so we can reply. We aim to respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm the request is yours, and some requests may be limited by law or by what we can identify. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law.
Children
Our site and chat are meant for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has shared information with us, tell us through Tavvy and we will aim to delete it.
Changes to this page
We may update this page from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we aim to point it out on the site.
